A bit of background: I love singing old hymns, choruses and gospel songs (though my voice is thin and raspy), rattling around on drums and er... 'playing' guitar.
I also find everything below fascinating, don't you?
The Last Days. GOD. Israel. The Middle East. The Rapture. The Lion of the Tribe of Judah. Humanoids. DNA. Giants. BCI. The Singularity. Mythology. AI.
Mainstream conversation topics now—Yet where's it all headed?
Interesting to watch for sure.
Anyway…
Ever since I was born again in 1984, I've been intrigued by these sort of things — so I publish video, little songs and quite often write on these topics... but to build up and encourage (not depress people!) and I run a small business consultancy at DaveAlston.com.
That's pretty much it — me and SYH!

A few questions you may have
Because for over 40 years our dear Father in Heaven has taught me how to sing no matter what. It's kind of muscle memory now. Singing by myself, or with others... always makes me feel better.
And these days it's more vital than ever to stay cheerful and optimistic. Sadly some End Times ministries wear down the very believers they claim to help.
So... let's look up! The LORD is with us, He told us all this in advance didn't He!
Singing...
Lowers stress hormones (reduces cortisol)
Boosts immune response (increases cytokines)
Releases 'happy hormones' (spikes oxytocin and endorphins)
Sing a couple of psalms, hymns or choruses to start with = I bet you end up happy! But... don't take my word for it, see the peer reviewed studies next :)
Seems even science confirms it.
Singing...
Lowering stress and boosting immunity: A Royal College of Music 2016 study tracked the saliva of choristers, finding significant reductions in cortisol and increases in cytokines (Fancourt et al., 2016).
Endorphins and social bonding: These 2015 studies demonstrated group singing elevates pain thresholds (helping release endorphins) and modulates oxytocin to create rapid social cohesion (Pearce et al., 2015; Keeler et al., 2015).
Lung capacity and respiratory health: 2021 randomised controlled trial investigated "Singing for Lung Health" as a physical training modality for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, noting its physical and respiratory benefits (Kaasgaard et al., 2021).
Our 'Sing Yourself Happy' Private members can share short audio recordings and voice notes inside our private Signal group. Signal is easy to use — Press a button on your phone. Record what you want to share to bless others...
And zip! Your word of wisdom, poem or song is shared with the SYH group.
Oh yes, I nearly forgot! Later we hope to host some online 'Rough Diamond' live group singing together for SYH Members! I can't wait — but baby steps first :)
Learn to use AI wisely and safely. Not be scared of it. Yes, there are issues with AI — but we can use it for good. Now anyone can make amazing things with it.
Sure, read The Saturday Brief.
It's our cutting-edge weekly Last Days update on breaking tech, geopolitics, AI news and more. Minus all the depressing fear-mongering.
You'll also hear some of our private members' audio recordings and voice notes in our weekly Saturday newsletter. Check it out — it's free.
Who is Sing Yourself Happy for?
Mostly older Christians who want to stay up to date about the End of the Age — With clear news and analysis on the topics above, without worrying yourself sick.
Or perhaps you're not a believer — Just curious about these exciting topics in the Bible and want to explore them among friends.
You might enjoy singing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs to the Lord — even if you've never sung a note in church before. (We're all rough diamond singers here ;)
Even genius AI boffs get this totally wrong in my (happily biased) opinion — Yet once you see AI via 'Two trees system streams' your view of it will change forever.
Don't let hype, jargon, overwhelm or anxiety about advanced tech put you off.
The best part: Honestly in my opinion, older people like us (I'm 62) have a truly massive advantage now because of AI... We'll be doing some workshops, so don't worry about any of this.
You'd like to explore using AI ethically, for good, to bless others.
A caring, praying community is here so you don't end up feeling on your own.
Dave Alston, with good news for these electrifying Last Days. And raspy singing too :)
